The #5WomenArtists campaign, created by the National Museum of Women in the Arts (NMWA) inspired Art Girl Rising.

Women in art have been faced with challenges due to gender biases in the art world for centuries, and they remain dramatically underrepresented and undervalued in museums, galleries, and auction houses.

Art Girl Rising aims to help spark conversations and raise awareness for this inequality.

A portion of the sale of each t-shirt tote bag and sweater is donated to NMWA to help fulfil their mission to champion women through the arts.
