ZINE EXCHANGE | SUBMISSIONS OPEN

ZINE EXCHANGE | SUBMISSIONS OPEN

To coincide with our upcoming exhibition Textbook for Desire, our Art Store will host a Zine Exchange.

Textbook for Desire intends to work oppositionally to the cultural ‘texts’ and learnt narratives that teach us how and what we should want, and whose voices should be prioritised.

We’re inviting submissions of related zines to be part of a free library, reading room and book depository in our Art Store.

This Zine Exchange will present a collection of zines, pamphlets, and miscellaneous prints that visitors and members of the public are welcome to contribute to, take from, read, annotate and return. Your texts will be shared alongside texts donated and curated by Cement Fondu staff and artists.

If you’re an artist, zine-maker or just a curious thinker who’d like to contribute to this free and open-source resource, please email artstore@cementfondu.org or send us a DM on Instagram @cementfondu

Whether you’d like to drop off some of your own work, something that you’ve read and loved, or just borrow from the collection we’ve curated, the Zine Exchange is open to anyone who’d like to become involved.

Submissions open now.
