We are excited to invite you to join us for a dynamic and hands-on workshop hosted by Fambo at Cement Fondu.
Fambo produce creative programs for children and their families that centre and celebrate LGBTQIA+ identities and queer culture.
Taking place within our current exhibition Retellings (Revisions), the ‘We Have Many Layers‘ workshop is inspired by artist Sin Wai Kin’s video series Portraits, which features imaginary characters each embodying a binary the artist is seeking to deconstruct.
Participants in the workshop will be invited to construct a fantasy self-portrait. Guided by creative prompts, participants will layer vibrant, textural materials to build an imagined world and bring a character to life.
RSVP is free. All are welcome.
