Radha La Bia hosts The Stepford Wives from 8pm

Join Cement Fondu at Golden Age Cinema for a special presentation of the suburban classic The Stepford Wives (1975). The film will be hosted by Radha La Bia, the Diva from India, with Cement Fondu Director Josephine Skinner.

Radha La Bia is a persona portrayed by artist Shaman Suku. Her installation and performance titled ஒன்பது (Nine), 2018, feature in the exhibition Suburbia, and weave together 9 family recipes with 9 anecdotes.

Suku was born in 1987 in Singapore and arrived in Australia in 2009. He explores ideas of racial and cultural identity, gender roles, the home and the kitchen, food and storytelling.
