Nabilah Nordin’s sculptural installation in the Project Space represents a private world, not viewable in its entirety by the audience. The act of experiencing the work is one of peeking, of discrete and subtle glimpses caught through peepholes.
In her personal sculptural language, the artist physically layers screens, dividers, barriers and obstructions to variously reveal and conceal.
The audience is invited to become a voyeur of playful scenes, as the partially visible sculptures perform private desires.
This project is supported by the NSW Government through Create NSW.
