For the first half of Magical Putt Putt, our Project Space will host a solo installation by The Deep Faith – centred around a contemporary, post-internet, blockchain era zoetrope. An ancient form of animation, that created the illusion of movement through rapidly spinning images, Zoetropes (and their new moving-image offspring) index a human obsession with seeing, looking. Featuring built installations, 3D prints, GAN imagery, videos and music the installation explores generative ways of being seen, and watching back.

A love song, a sonnet, a memory, your smell, a candle. A heart shaped key.

A picture of you, you looked me in the eyes, we hold more time each day, you wrote to me.

I see you in so many things….. but maybe it sees me. I am moving with no control.
