Please join us for the launch of our inaugural solo exhibition, presenting newly commissioned work by Australian artist Heath Franco. Franco’s practice is concerned with popular culture and the chaos of contemporary existence, which he explores through psychotropic aesthetics, caricature and immersive surrealist installation.

Honouring and defying his creative history and identity as a video artist, this significant exhibition marks an exciting and courageous departure for an artist whose work we think we know, but can’t claim to any longer.

The night also celebrates the opening of Skye Fox’s exhibition Oddysee in the Project Space, in partnership with Studio A. Oddysee is a manifestation of Skye Fox’s internal universe; a circus-like, interactive environment inhabited by a cast of dream-like, sewn characters. Oddysee was realized with the support of artist Katy B. Plummer, and is Cement Fondu’s second partnership with Studio A.
