VIRTUAL TOUR | MOBILE COLOUR | ONLINE NOW

Take a virtual tour around our current Project Space installation Mobile Colour, featuring a group exhibition by Studio A.

ENTER VIRTUAL TOUR

For our third Project Space partnership with Studio A, Mobile Colour is an immersive installation inspired by the artists’ relationship to vibrant colour and bold pattern.

Multidisciplinary artworks by Jaycee Kim, Katrina Brennan and Emily Crockford create a dance and vibration between colour and pattern that is crucial to each artist’s sense of identity and place. In this vibrancy, the artists find a sense of calm and focus. Audiences are invited to bathe in this energetic aesthetic.

The show features Studio A’s newest artist Jaycee Kim who challenged visitors at the launch to a game of chess with a series of chess pieces made in his own regal image. The space also showcases Kim’s augmented reality wallpaper artwork Postage Stamp Colour Pallette, 2020, which viewers can activate with a QR code to see his characters come alive.Studio A is a supported studio that offers professional development pathways and opportunities for artists living with intellectual disability.
