ART STORE | WARM BODIES

Warm Bodies Art Store edition, image by Anna Kucera

Our Warm Bodies edition of the Art Store embraces fire, decay and destruction with a Takeover by UK-based artist Adham Faramawy.

Faramawy presents a multi-screen and wall vinyl installation that buries the store under piles of sand and consumer debris and features his new video work Make Up Tutorial, which was commissioned by Film London and is set to air on UK TV.

Inspired by the themes of our Warm Bodies exhibition, the store is stocked with artworks, textiles and range of unique products. These include ripped fragments from photographer Justine Varga’s body-contact prints, a new limited edition ceramic series 5 Scary Foods by Kenny Pittock, Glitch Textiles and wearables, including throws by New York artist Phillip Stearns and a trench coat by Japanese artists UCNV & Nukeme, and a set of 5 Muslim Zombie postcards by Safdar Ahmed that see 100% profits donated to the Refugee Art Project.

Combining melting metals and crumbling cement, a limited number of Cement Fondu X Andrew Christie collaborative jewellery pieces will also be launched in store.
